We’ll dissect some advanced queries we’ve written and explain why wrote the SQL query that way! Learn about the different types of joins, temp tables, primary keys, and more! You’ll be sure to pick up a few new tricks to try out later!

July 2018 MNSCUG Meeting

The July 2018 Minnesota System Center User Group meeting will be Wednesday, July 18th from 4:30pm to 7:15pm at the MTC in Edina. 3601 76th Street West. Edina, MN 55435 6th floor.

Configuration Manager is a treasure trove of data.  But getting that information from query return to reports fit for your boss's consumption is not always straight forward.  Better yet, that teeth gnashing feeling, when you know Configuration Manager has some of the information you want but isn't collecting that one extra value you so desperately need.

Well don't be frustrated. Instead come to the July MNSCUG meeting where Mark Godfrey, current MNSCUG President and Software/Systems Engineer for Recast Software, along with Gary Blok, OSD Engineer at Wells Fargo and author of the beloved Garytown.com blog show us how to:

  • Create and Populate Custom WMI Classes
  • Collect Custom Classes via CM Hardware Inventory
  • Create Collections and Reports from Collected Data

OSD day has been rescheduled for August check back at MNSCUG.org for more information ... coming soon.
